SOHR reported ~1,100 Turkish-trained Syrian fighters guarding sites in Niger; Jeune Afrique reported training in Mali (2024). SADAT and Ankara deny both. Turkey is also a major drone supplier (TB2, Akıncı) to all three AES juntas.
